The short version: Scroll Elevator is a $4.99 one-time macOS app sold through Gumroad. Buy it, use it on the Macs you own, and read or build the source on GitHub if you like. It is provided as-is, and all sales are final.

Agreement

By purchasing, downloading, or using Scroll Elevator (the "app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The app is made by Kevin Tang.

License to use

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to install and use the app on Macs that you own or control. You may not resell or redistribute the compiled binary as your own.

Source code

The source for Scroll Elevator is published on GitHub. You may read it and build it yourself for personal use in accordance with the license included in that repository. Purchasing the app supports its development and gives you the signed, notarized build.

Purchases and payments

The app is sold through Gumroad. Your payment and contact details are handled by Gumroad under their terms and privacy policy; the app itself never sees or receives them.

Refunds

All sales are final and refunds are not offered. If you run into a bug, email me and I will do my best to make it right.

Disclaimer of warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. You use it at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kevin Tang is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Changes

These terms may be updated over time. The current version will always be posted on this page with a new date.
