Voice Camera Now Terms of Service

Short Version

Voice Camera Now lets you control photo and video capture with spoken commands. Voice recognition and camera hardware are imperfect, so confirm that important media was actually captured and saved. The free version includes a limited number of captures and optional rewarded ads; Voice Camera Pro is a one-time purchase for unlimited captures. By using the app, you agree to the terms below.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Voice Camera Now ("the app", "we", "us"), developed by Kevin Tang. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Your use is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA); where these Terms conflict with Apple's EULA regarding the app license, Apple's EULA controls.

2. What Voice Camera Now Does

The app uses your device's camera, microphone, Photos library, and Apple's speech-recognition service to let you take photos, bursts, and videos with voice commands. It also provides framing, timer, flash, night, mirror, zoom, and composition controls.

3. Captured Media and Other People

  • You own and are responsible for the photos and videos you create.
  • You are responsible for obtaining any consent required before recording or photographing other people.
  • You must follow applicable privacy, recording, surveillance, intellectual-property, and venue rules.
  • Do not use the app where distraction could create a safety risk.

4. Voice Recognition and Capture Reliability

Speech recognition can miss, delay, or misinterpret commands because of noise, accents, connectivity, device conditions, or Apple-service availability. Camera hardware, storage, permissions, or interruptions can also prevent a capture. Always verify important media in your Photos library. The app is not intended for emergency, evidentiary, security, medical, or other uses requiring guaranteed capture.

5. Free Captures, Rewarded Ads, and Voice Camera Pro

  • The app includes 10 free captures. Optional rewarded ads may grant additional captures.
  • Voice Camera Pro is an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase currently priced at $2.99 USD; pricing may vary by country and may change over time.
  • Pro unlocks unlimited captures. It is not a subscription.
  • Apple processes purchases and handles refund requests through reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
  • You can restore an eligible purchase while signed into the Apple Account that bought it.

6. Third-Party Services

The app depends on Apple camera, Photos, Speech, and StoreKit services and uses Google AdMob for rewarded ads. These services may change, fail, or become unavailable and are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or conduct.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the app unlawfully; violate another person's privacy or rights; interfere with the app or connected services; circumvent purchase or capture limits; or reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

8. Intellectual Property

Voice Camera Now's software, design, branding, and original content are owned by Kevin Tang and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app. Your captured media remains yours.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that every voice command will be recognized or every attempted capture will succeed.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kevin Tang shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost, missed, corrupted, or unwanted media arising from your use of the app. Total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms. The current version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where superseded by Apple's EULA or mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence.
