Short Version

Voice Camera Now does not upload your photos, videos, custom voice commands, or camera feed to the developer. Captured media is saved to your Photos library, and app preferences stay on your device. The app uses Apple's speech-recognition service for voice commands, Google AdMob for optional rewarded ads, and Apple StoreKit for the one-time Pro purchase. Those services process data under their own privacy policies.

What Stays On Your Device

  • Photos and videos: saved to your device's Photos library. The developer does not receive or store them.
  • Custom voice commands: words you add in My Words and their assigned actions are stored locally in app preferences.
  • Camera preferences: settings such as framing, timer, flash, night mode, mirror preference, and other interface choices are stored locally.
  • Usage and purchase state: remaining free captures, rewarded captures, and a local cache of Pro status are stored on-device. Apple remains the source of truth for purchases.

Camera, Microphone, Speech, and Photos Access

  • Camera: used to show the live preview and capture photos or video.
  • Microphone: used to hear voice commands and to record sound when you capture video.
  • Speech Recognition: used to convert spoken commands into text that the app can match to camera actions.
  • Photos: used to save the media you capture and to open your photo library when requested.

You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Features that require a denied permission will stop working.

Apple Speech Recognition

Voice commands are handled through Apple's SFSpeechRecognizer. Depending on your device, language, network state, and Apple's service availability, speech audio and recognition results may be processed on-device or sent to Apple for processing. Voice Camera Now does not force on-device recognition and does not send speech data to any developer-operated server. Apple's handling of speech data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Advertising and Tracking

The free version can load optional rewarded ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may process information such as your IP address, device and advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, ad interactions, and diagnostics, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

  • Voice Camera Now requests Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission.
  • If you deny tracking, the app requests non-personalized ads from AdMob.
  • If you allow tracking, Google may use permitted identifiers to personalize and measure advertising.
  • Buying Voice Camera Pro removes the need to earn additional captures through rewarded ads.

Purchases

The optional Voice Camera Pro purchase is processed by Apple through StoreKit. The developer receives purchase-entitlement status but never receives your payment-card or billing information. Apple's purchase and account data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

What The Developer Does Not Collect

  • No developer-operated account or cloud-storage service.
  • No upload of your camera feed, photos, videos, recordings, or custom command words to the developer.
  • No sale of your personal information by the developer.

Children's Privacy

Voice Camera Now is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Advertising and Apple services may apply their own age-related rules and protections.

Changes To This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes may also be noted in an app update.
