DTMF Dialer Tool Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-08-21
Short Version
DTMF Dialer Tool generates tones entirely on your device. The developer does not receive your entered sequences, saved favorites, contacts, call history, or microphone audio. Favorites and settings stay locally on your device unless you explicitly export them. The free version uses Google AdMob for banner ads, and the optional Pro purchase is handled by Apple StoreKit.
What Stays On Your Device
- Saved favorites: names and DTMF sequences are stored locally in app preferences.
- Tone settings: tone duration, pause duration, and related preferences are stored locally.
- Usage state: basic on-device counters and a local cache of Pro entitlement state may be stored in app preferences.
- Export files: Pro can create a temporary CSV of favorites. It leaves your device only when you choose a destination in Apple's share sheet.
Deleting the app removes its locally stored data, subject to normal iOS backup and restore behavior.
What The App Does Not Access
- No microphone recording or speech recognition.
- No contacts, phone-call history, messages, or carrier account access.
- No developer-operated account, analytics server, or cloud sync.
- No transmission of your dial strings or favorite names to the developer.
The app plays audible dual-frequency tones through your device's audio output. It does not place calls or inject audio into the iPhone Phone app.
Advertising and Tracking
The free version displays banner ads supplied by Google AdMob. AdMob may process information such as your IP address, device and advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, ad interactions, and diagnostics, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- DTMF Dialer Tool requests Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission.
- If you deny tracking, the app requests non-personalized ads from AdMob.
- If you allow tracking, Google may use permitted identifiers to personalize and measure advertising.
- DTMF Dialer Pro removes banner ads.
Purchases
The optional DTMF Dialer Pro purchase is processed by Apple through StoreKit. The developer receives purchase-entitlement status but never receives your payment-card or billing information. Apple's handling of purchase and account data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Data You Choose To Share
If you export favorites, Apple's share sheet lets you choose another app, person, or service. That destination's privacy practices apply after you share the CSV. Avoid storing or exporting passwords, PINs, access codes, or other sensitive secrets as favorites.
Children's Privacy
DTMF Dialer Tool is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Advertising and Apple services may apply their own age-related rules and protections.
Changes To This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes may also be noted in an app update.
