In development for Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S. The free macOS companion is required.

A Private Spatial Desk

  • Sharp Mac displays. Each screen uses a Quest compositor layer for clear text and low-latency head-pose reprojection.
  • Local by design. Screen video, Mac audio, optional microphone audio, and clipboard data stay between your paired devices.
  • Flexible layouts. Add virtual displays, curve the workspace, and move or resize panels with hands or controllers.
  • Multi-Mac. Keep more than one paired Mac in the same workspace and move focus between them.
  • Comfort-aware focus. Bring one screen forward for reading or let it follow with a delayed, distance-capped drift.
  • Passthrough safety. Optional Room Awareness shows sparse cues around nearby mapped furniture.

What You Need

A Meta Quest 3 or Quest 3S, a Mac, and a local network shared by both devices. Install the Beamdesk companion on the Mac, open the Macs page in the headset, and confirm that the same six-digit pairing code appears on both devices.

Deliberate Permissions

Screen Recording is required on the Mac to stream displays. Accessibility enables remote pointer and shortcut control. Quest microphone and Room Awareness features are optional and remain off or unavailable when their permissions are not granted.
