BaySpeed Privacy Policy

Short Version

BaySpeed does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to its developer. We don't run ads, don't include third-party analytics, and don't track you across apps or websites. The only network traffic BaySpeed generates is between your device and Topgolf's own API (to fetch your account's game history) and Apple's StoreKit (for the optional Pro purchase).

What BaySpeed Stores On Your Device

• Your Topgolf game history: after you sign in, the games BaySpeed fetches from Topgolf's API are cached locally so the app works offline.
• Your Topgolf authentication token: stored in iOS Keychain (encrypted, device-only, not iCloud-synced). This lets you stay signed in across app launches without re-entering your verification code. You can clear it at any time via Settings → Account → Sign Out of Topgolf.
• App preferences: last-sync timestamp, Pro purchase status, and similar non-personal settings, stored via standard iOS UserDefaults.

What BaySpeed Does NOT Do

• No data is sent to BaySpeed's developer or any third party (other than Topgolf's API for your own data, and Apple's payment system for the Pro unlock).
• No advertising or ad-network SDKs.
• No analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting SDKs.
• No tracking across apps or websites. The required Apple privacy manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking as false.

Sign-In Flow

When you sign in with your Topgolf email, your email address and the verification code you enter are sent directly from your device to Topgolf's servers over HTTPS — they do not pass through any BaySpeed-controlled server. BaySpeed never sees, stores, or transmits your Topgolf password (Topgolf uses email-plus-one-time-code auth, not a password). Game data we then fetch from Topgolf's API is stored only on your device.

Third-Party Services

• Topgolf, Inc. — BaySpeed calls Topgolf's mobile API on your behalf to fetch your account's game history. Network requests follow Topgolf's own privacy practices, which we are not responsible for. BaySpeed is an independent third-party app; we are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Topgolf. Topgolf® is a registered trademark of its respective owner.
• Apple StoreKit — the optional BaySpeed Pro one-time purchase goes through Apple's standard in-app purchase system. Apple handles the payment; BaySpeed never sees your billing information.

Children's Privacy

BaySpeed is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from anyone — adults included. The App Store rates BaySpeed appropriate for general audiences.

Changes To This Policy

If we update this policy, the new version will be published at this URL with an updated effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the next app update's release notes.
